Reading


How do our brains learn to read? What are the underlying causes when students experience difficulty learning to read? How can we prevent and remediate these difficulties?

Structured Literacy instruction includes Orton-Gillingham, Direct Instruction, and Lindamood-Bell.

We target the many strands that underpin skilled reading and spelling:

  • DECODING (alphabetical principles, symbol-sound correspondence)

Writing


Students that struggle with writing have a difficult time in school because efficient writing skills are essential to academic success.

Math


Every child can be successful at math.  Students struggle with math because they haven't yet developed and mastered key foundational skills.

We create customized programs to support and strengthen weak math skills and develop understanding and a love for math.
